The software provides a powerful tool for acquiring practical experience with the methods presented in the textbook for the interpretation of pumping tests and slug tests.

Download the installation file for the demo and follow the installation instructions provided to begin using AQTESOLV.
Using The Demo
- Download and install the AQTESOLV demo.
- Start the AQTESOLV demo application and choose Contents and Index from the Help menu to open the program's Help system.
- In Help, navigate to the Quick Start chapter which contains numerous examples with step-by-step instructions for using AQTESOLV to analyze pumping tests and slug tests. Take a few minutes to work through several of the tutorials to learn how the program functions.
- Hone your analytical skills by exploring the full suite of examples which cover a wide range of conditions that you may encounter when interpreting aquifer test data.
- Your instructor may ask you to use AQTESOLV to perform some of the pumping-test or slug-test problems in the Applied Hydrogeology textbook. You are encouraged to solve each problem by hand prior to using the software to gain insight into how the programmed solutions work.
