How do I analyze observation (time-displacement) data from a pumping well?
Choose Edit | Pumping Well | Edit to enter well and pumping data for the pumping well.
  1. Enter the x and y coordinate locations of the well (e.g., x=0 and y=0).
  2. Enter the casing radius and wellbore radius (AQTESOLV for Windows uses the wellbore radius for the radius to the observation well, if needed).
  3. Enter well penetration data for the pumping well.
  4. Click the Rates tab (v. 3.0+) or the Edit button (older versions) to enter pumping history information.

Choose Edit | Obs. Well | Edit to enter observation data for the pumping well.

  1. Enter the same x and y coordinates as you entered for the pumping well (e.g., x=0 and y=0).
  2. Enter the same well penetration data as you entered for the pumping well.
  3. Click the Observations tab (v. 3.0+) or the Edit button to enter observations for the pumping well from the keyboard.  Click Import to import a data logger file.
