How do I analyze observation (time-displacement)
data from a pumping well? |
 |
Choose Edit | Pumping Well | Edit to enter well and pumping
data for the pumping well.
- Enter the x and y coordinate locations of the well (e.g., x=0 and y=0).
- Enter the casing radius and wellbore radius (AQTESOLV for Windows uses the wellbore
radius for the radius to the observation well, if needed).
- Enter well penetration data for the pumping well.
- Click the Rates tab (v. 3.0+) or the Edit button (older
versions) to enter pumping history information.
Choose Edit | Obs. Well | Edit to enter observation data for the pumping well.
- Enter the same x and y coordinates as you entered for the pumping well (e.g., x=0 and
y=0).
- Enter the same well penetration data as you entered for the pumping well.
- Click the Observations tab (v. 3.0+) or the Edit button to enter
observations for the pumping well from the keyboard. Click Import to import a
