FAQ

When should I enter a porosity for the gravel pack of the well?
AQTESOLV uses the porosity of the gravel pack to correct the casing radius of the well when the static water table position occurs within the well screen.

For confined aquifers, always enter a porosity of 0.0.

For unconfined aquifers, enter the gravel pack porosity only when the static water table position occurs within the well screen; otherwise enter a porosity of 0.0.

Check Apply correction for partially submerged screen if you want AQTESOLV to correct the casing radius (v. 3.0+). The program will apply the correction whenever the porosity value is greater than 0.0 (older versions).
